To increase eCommerce reach and brand awareness, the family-owned company Metablo relies on online marketplaces. With the introduction of the brickfox multichannel eCommerce software, the manufacturer and supplier of sun protection products expands its distribution channel portfolio by 12 online marketplaces in only 3 years. Step by step, marketplaces – starting with Amazon and eBay – are integrated into the metablo brickfox landscape. A successful start phase is followed by the relocation of the metablo online store – after the introduction of the store software Shopware – into the centrally controlled sales channel landscape. Product data is transferred via XML Exchange from WaWi to brickfox, prepared in brickfox channel-specific and distributed individually automated to the distribution channels. Already one year after the introduction of brickfox, Metablo sends 5 times the amount of packages … two years later the 10-fold amount. Today Metablo is a successful multichannel eCommerce company and has managed to stay a family business despite the enormous growth. The processes behind their online sales are efficient and sustainable. The product data management is clearly arranged, the sales channel control is intelligently automated.
