It runs and runs and runs. The new multi-channel e-commerce plugin for Shopware 5 is bringing brickfox customers like PCH their first sales. The retailer of protective work clothing uses brickfox as e-commerce middleware. PCH uses brickfox to manage the products of its merchandise management system - in this case Bueroware - in its two Shopware 5 shops and on the online marketplace Amazon. As a product-managing system, brickfox is the control center in which all product data is prepared for specific marketplaces. Brickfox returns incoming orders to the merchandise management system and immediately updates the stocks in all connected systems.
PCH E-Commerce Manager Tobias Gathmann is pleased with the uncomplicated (re-)launch of his e-commerce system with Shopware 5 and brickfox. "The constructive collaboration between the project teams on both sides was very professional and goal-oriented... this is reflected in both the project quality and the go-live window. With a total time to market of just 4 months, we were right at the forefront." He sees brickfox as the basis for structured and sustainable company expansion. "The e-commerce middleware enables clear and efficient sales of products on the sales channels we are targeting. It doesn't matter how many Shopware shops or online marketplaces we want to serve. With brickfox we have a solid foundation that can be easily scaled. Additional sales channels at home and abroad are therefore only a matter of time."
In addition to the marketplace giants Amazon and eBay, brickfox can be used to control platforms such as Rakuten, Plus or Allyouneed. There are also industry-specific marketplaces such as Garten XXL or B2B platforms such as Mercateo. International markets can also be accessed with the software. The e-commerce middleware masters the challenges posed by different currencies and languages even in the entry-level version. International Shopware 5 multi-shop systems as well as online marketplaces in Europe and overseas can be operated in a structured and clear manner. International Amazon presences, marketplaces such as Cdiscount.com "N°1 du e-commerce Francais" or the Swiss Ricardoshops.ch are attractive targets for online retailers looking to expand.
