brickfox GmbH successfully completes financing round and expands management

The Stuttgart-based specialist for multi-channel online retail successfully raised fresh equity capital in June 2015. A mid-six-figure sum is intended to further expand the good market position and accelerate growth. Part of the money will be invested in new interfaces and at the same time sales will be further expanded.

As a classic middleware, brickfox plays a central role in its customers' e-commerce management. The software connects and automates the most important processes between the retailer's inventory management or logistics and its sales channels. These are primarily the large European online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay and Rakuten as well as the retailers' own online shops. But exclusive platforms such as plus.de or neckermann.at are also served. "With the expansion of our interface portfolio, brickfox is becoming more and more attractive to retailers in Germany!" says Managing Director Torsten Blümel, commenting on the deal.

In addition to controlling marketplaces, the topic of internationalization is of interest to most retailers. The software's multilingual product data management system (PIM) allows international multi-shop systems and marketplaces to be operated in a central system. Internationalization strategies can thus be implemented easily and efficiently.
